Am weitesten verbreitet ist der Sandbelag mit rotem Ziegelmehl. Die oberste Schicht besteht aus Ziegelmehl, darunter liegt eine dynamische Schicht aus Lava, die Feuchtigkeit speichert und abgibt, die Elastizit\u00e4t verbessert und als \u00dcbergang zur Tragschicht dient. Das bekannteste Sandplatzturnier sind die French Open.<\/p>\n

Synthetische Bel\u00e4ge vereinen die Vorteile von Allwetterpl\u00e4tzen mit der Optik und den Spieleigenschaften von Sandpl\u00e4tzen.
